Our arrival back home tonight proved to be quite a fruitful one, next door neighbour has saved us two massive sunflower heads full of seed, we will take these down to the tunnel to dry out so we can use the seeds next year. After a quick coffee we decided to head over to the Plot to check on our produce, all is well..
Annie bought a 6 pack of lavender, we potted on into bigger pots as we want to get them into a decent size and prime location ready for the bees when they arrive at the start of next season.
We have a few plans and ideas for quite a bit of trialling veg regarding certain varieties next year, although not a lot of information will be gathered during the growing of the plants, most of all it will depend on the taste for our final Judgement, unless there is a substantial difference in the growth rate as to warrant added interest, after all we don’t want massive veg and no taste, rather the other way round.
Going to visit the Plot again tomorrow with John-Paul, we will decide what will happen in the near future and plan the grounds to make the most of the area we have.
